Born Into ZimmDoodles, Now Living Her Best Life
Nala holds a special place in ZimmDoodles history as one of our home-bred Cockapoos. Born into our program as the daughter of our foundation stud Sandy and Annie, she represents the second generation of our breeding efforts.
Nala's Breeding Experience: Nala became the mother of our current stud Drew (registered name: ZimmDoodles In Every Splash He Brings Pure Joy), but it quickly became apparent that motherhood wasn't her true calling. After having just one litter, we recognized that breeding wasn't bringing Nala joy or fulfillment.
Annie to the Rescue: In a beautiful display of maternal instincts, Nala's mother Annie stepped in to adopt and raise Nala's puppies. This arrangement allowed the puppies to receive the nurturing care they needed while relieving Nala of responsibilities that didn't suit her temperament.
Early Retirement: Understanding that every dog is different, we made the compassionate decision to retire Nala from our breeding program early. She was placed in a loving guardian home where she could focus on what she does best - being a cherished family companion.
Her Legacy: While Nala's breeding career was brief, her contribution to our program is significant. Through her son Drew, she continues the Sandy bloodline and proves that sometimes one exceptional offspring is all it takes to make a lasting impact.
Life in Retirement: Today, Nala enjoys her retirement in her guardian home, living as a beloved family pet without any breeding responsibilities. This arrangement exemplifies our commitment to ensuring every dog in our program lives their happiest, most fulfilling life.
